It’s raining out and I’d much rather stay in and drink wine…

than go out and get plastered with my friends. I need a break…and shall probably be on Tumblr for the rest of the evening.

This weekend was filled with new friends, old friends, drunken times and great food…our cure for the Sunday hangover? Guero’s on South Congress. Never been a huge fan, but I’ll give them some props on tasty and affordable sangria. That said, their margaritas were subpar, but hey, decent waiting time, and salsa bar gives it a couple of extra points for me.

My kinda night…my kinda beer…Santo. But the best part of tonight was DEFINITELY the enchilada casserole. I’d say this beer went perfectly…maybe it’s the Dia De Los Muertos inspired imagery of the bottle design that got me in the mood for mexican food. Either way…cheers good buddies!

I’m about to O.D. on kale in an attempt towards a healthier lifestyle following my week of binge drinking.

Not sure if my stomach will be able to handle all this ruffage. 

Rebecca and I managed to get drunk, have dinner, have more drinks, take a nap and get sober within the span of five hours.

Finally had time to upload some pictures from this weekend…my friends made my birthday amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better time! A weekend of day-drinking, night-drinking, great bars, LOTS of food, some Alamo Drafthouse and of course a dash or two (or three or four) of some drunken antics. I’m just glad most of the weekend WASN’T captured in photography…that could have been dangerous…not sure if the blogisphere is ready to see crazy drunk Jarrod.
